Privacy Policy

Last updated August 4, 2026

This policy explains what data Site Checker collects, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you run a scan, we receive the URL you submit. If you create an account we also collect your email address, and if you subscribe to a paid plan our payment processor collects your billing details on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

We collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit. This is used for security, rate-limiting and understanding which parts of the product get used.

How we use your information

  • To run the website audits you request and show you the results
  • To maintain your scan history if you have an account
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To prevent abuse, spam and automated scraping of the service
  • To respond to support requests you send us

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of scanned websites for anything other than generating your report.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. If we introduce advertising in future, advertising partners may set their own cookies, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting provider, our payment processor, and our email provider. Each is bound by contract to handle your data only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information where legally required.

Data retention

Scan results for anonymous users are deleted automatically after 30 days. Account holders' scan history is kept until the account is deleted. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email max.digital.studio33@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

Site Checker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
